Keibuild Homes is closely monitoring the global issue of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns from our staff and customers.
Our top priority is to ensure that we are following the most recent guidelines set forth by the Australian Government Department of Health to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for our customers, staff, sub-contractors and suppliers.
At this time, the building of all existing and new Keibuild Homes will continue as normal. As updates change, we will continue to follow the advice of relevant health authorities and will update all customers as required.
In line with the recent easing of restrictions from the Australian Government Department of Health, our display homes are back open. In our office and display homes, we are encouraging the team and trades to;
- self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days if they have travelled overseas or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, ensuring that they are not present in any display homes, offices or on-site.
- use good hygiene practices including regular handwashing with soap and water,
- use a tissue and cover their mouth (cough or sneeze into elbow) when they cough or sneeze,
- practice social distancing and limiting contact with others by maintaining a distance of at least 1.5 metres and applying the 1 person per 4 square metre rule,
- avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth,
- stay away from the workplace if they are unwell and not fit for work, and encourage them to seek medical advice as appropriate,
- follow the ‘Making Space On-Site’ Industry Guidelines set by the Housing Industry Association (HIA) which are also displayed on all sites.
For prospective customers, we want to reiterate that the planning and building of any new Keibuild Homes will continue as normal. It’s important to note that all Keibuild Homes display homes and offices undergo regular cleaning of hard surfaces including desks, bathrooms, kitchens and access points with appropriate anti-bacterial cleaning solutions.
We do, however, ask that any customers who are feeling unwell to not visit our display homes or any appointments at our head office (including colour consultations). Appointments can be rescheduled by contacting your relevant Keibuild Homes representative.
We understand the uncertainty that our customers and potential home buyers are feeling during this time, but we want to assure you that we are following all relevant industry guidelines and are committed to safely building you a quality home.
Keibuild Homes will continue to monitor the issue and if there are any changes, our team, trades and customers will be updated.
