Where do I start?
We recommend getting in touch with our Sales Team. We’ll help build your dream home from end-to-end – from sourcing land right through to receiving your keys. If you already have a block in mind, we’ll even visit the site and advise you on its suitability for your design goals.
Our team will help you choose a design and provide you with an accurate, on-the-spot quote to get you started on your new home journey.
What are standard inclusions?
Our standard inclusions are all of the fixtures, fittings and features that are included in the cost of your new home. We offer our customers over 100 standard inclusions from Colorbond® roofs, to Caesarstone benchtops.
You can find our full list of inclusions here.
Can I make changes to my plan?
Absolutely! We offer pre-designed floor plan options on most of our home designs. But if they still don’t suit, take advantage of our FREE home design consultation with a Keibuild New Home Sales Consultant. This way you’ll get your plan changes mapped out correctly, right from the start.
Do you build on sloping or steep blocks?
Many builders turn away customers who have difficult blocks to work on. If your block of land has a steep slope or is an odd shape, they’ll likely tell you to find help elsewhere. This isn’t the case at Keibuild Homes.
Our expert team has over 20 years’ experience working on all kinds of blocks. We have beautiful designs for single and double storey homes, suitable for dual living, acreage, small lots or split level/pole homes. Whatever space you’re working with, we’ll have a solution to match.
Do you do knock down rebuilds?
We do! We’re experts in knockdown new builds and will manage the building process from end-to-end. If you’re not happy with your current home but love your existing location, we’ll help explain the benefits of rebuilding, what’s required, help you choose a home design for your block, and once demolition is complete, we’ll build your new home on-time.
Will Keibuild Homes demolish my home?
Unfortunately we don’t demolish homes, but we work with some of the best home removal teams in the business and are more than happy to refer you to our expert contacts.
Can you help with Home Sewage Treatment Plants (HSTP)?
If your land is not sewered and you require a HSTP, we will incorporate the system into your house and block layout (“house sighting”) and simply add the system and price to your quote.
What is an easement?
An easement is a section of land registered on your property title which gives someone the right to use the land for a specific purpose, even though they are not the land owner. Please note that we cannot build on easements.
Do you build swimming pools?
Unfortunately, we do not build swimming pools. If this is something you need to be factored into your budget, or you’re looking to install a pool later on down the track, please ensure that this is discussed with your New Home Sales Consultant during the planning stage.
Do you build on poles or stumps?
Yes, we do! If you have a steep or difficult block or are looking to elevate your home to make the most of your views, pole homes allow you to work with the natural flow of your land—potentially saving you money in expensive site costs. It’s always best to talk with our Sales Team to see what design type is best for your block.
Do you use waffle pod slabs?
We use waffle pod slabs because they are the most cost-effective slab design for most homes. They sit on top of the ground, allowing for minor movement under the slab caused by climate changes.
Do you assist with finance?
While we don’t offer any finance options, we work with some of the best in the business and are more than happy to refer you to a Broker who can walk you through the finance process.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
When it comes to building your new home, the more we know the better. We encourage all of our clients to prepare the following (if you have them), in preparation for your initial meeting:
- If you have already purchased land, the disclosure plan and registration date
- Any relevant building covenants (see here for details)
- Your Finance or Mortgage Broker details
- Land Agent or Real Estate details
- If you’re planning a Knockdown New Build, your house plans and previous surveys
- Your wishlist for your new home.
What is a Preliminary Agreement?
Our Preliminary Agreement uncovers all of the details we need to know to be able to build your new home. It’s not a building contract, but rather an agreement for Keibuild Homes to complete the required tests needed to be able to provide you with your fixed-price contract.
My land isn’t registered yet. Will my quoted price be honored when it is?
We are unable to perform any tests on unregistered blocks. Most blocks are registered within a few months of a quote being issued, so all prices will be honoured. If registration exceeds 90 days, your quote will need to be reviewed.
I have left a message with Keibuild Homes. How long will it take to hear back from your team?
We aim to get in touch with all of our clients as soon as possible. However, if you make contact after hours or on days we’re closed, we may not be in contact until the following day. So please allow a maximum of 24 hours for our team to get back to you.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Are you still building homes with the Covid-19 pandemic?
Currently, Keibuild Homes is continuing to building existing and new homes. Keep up to date with all of our latest updates here.
